E-Learning: Basics of Science Communication

Das E-Learning vermittelt grundlegende Kenntnisse der Wissenschaftskommunikation. Dabei stehen Themen wie Dimensionen der Wissenschaftskommunikation, das Wechselspiel der Akteure und Zielgruppen oder der Umgang mit Medien im Mittelpunkt. Sie lernen außerdem, Ihre Kommunikation strategisch zu planen und wissen, welche verschiedenen Optionen Ihnen zur Verfügung stehen.

Die interaktiven Lerneinheiten bauen modular auf und haben einen zeitlichen Umfang von insgesamt etwa 8 Stunden. Die Inhalte sind abwechslungsreich unter Einbindung von Animationen und Videos gestaltet. Das E-Learning ist im Zeitraum von Mitte Oktober 2026 bis Ende März 2027 jederzeit online abrufbar, sodass Sie den Kurs flexibel in Ihren Alltag integrieren können.

Die Kursinhalte wurden vom Nationalen Institut für Wissenschaftskommunikation (NaWik) erstellt. Die Bearbeitung findet über die Online-Plattform „WissKomm-Campus“ statt, die über alle gängigen Browser nutzbar ist. Weitere Software-Voraussetzungen sind nicht nötig. Am 12. Oktober erhalten Sie den Zugangscode.

The e-learning course provides basic knowledge of science communication. It focuses on topics such as dimensions of science communication, the interplay between different actors and target groups and dealing with media requests. You will also learn how to plan your communication strategically and know which different options are available to you.

The interactive learning units are modular and take around 8 hours in total. The content is varied and includes animations and videos. The e-learning can be accessed online at any time between mid-October 2026 and the end of March 2027, so that you can flexibly integrate the course into your everyday life.

The course content was created by the National Institute for Science Communication (NaWik). The course takes place via the online platform "WissKomm-Campus", accessible with all common browsers.
