HRA spotlight – The Policy Impact Factor
About the Connection Between Research and Policy
As researchers, we are well informed about the impact factor of our publications. But let me ask you, have you ever considered your policy impact factor? How can researchers design and communicate their research to create an impact on policy makers and beyond?
In this workshop, we will discuss varying approaches and perspectives of academics and policy makers to understand what constitutes differences between the research gap and the policy gap. Jointly, we will explore how we can create and increase our policy impact factor. Expect less of a technical seminar and more of an exchange of ideas and experiences with examples from the field of economics.
HRA’s Project for Research Communication: This workshop is part of a larger research communication project which is funded by the Claussen-Simon-Stiftung.
HRA Spotlight: The Hamburg Research Academy offers regular short information sessions on topics central to the doctoral and the postdoctoral career phase. Experts provide basic information and answer your questions.
This event is open to all HRA target groups. However, the content is geared to the needs of the listed target groups. Participation is free of charge, prior registration is requested. For further information please read the conditions of participation.
