Postdoc's Guide for Mastering the Do's and Don'ts

The HRA Postdoc Network invites you to an engaging session on data-management in research. This knowledge is especially valuable for postdocs, whose changing university affiliations can pose unique challenges. The talk highlights important aspects of good research practice and the measures and facilities provided by Universität Hamburg to support postdocs to deal with situations that compromise honesty, fairness, transparency, diligence and ethics in research work. Understanding data rights and management would help you confidently navigate your academic career and ensure your contributions are respected and safeguarded.

The speaker Helga Nolte is the head of the Ombuds office at the Universität Hamburg and advises in topics relating to good scientific practice, research integrity, good supervision, data management, authorship and publication and conflict management, amongst several others.

This Postdoc Talk has been organized by HRA Postdoc Network member, Dr. Aastha Tyagi who is a postdoctoral researcher at Universität Hamburg.
