HRA Spotlight – Starting your Doctoral Journey in Hamburg: Essential Information and Helpful Tips
The decision to start a doctoral project comes with many urgent questions: What paths lead to a doctorate at Hamburg’s higher education institutions and what kind of doctorate is right for me? How do I choose a topic and a supervisor? Where do I apply for a position or where can I get funding for my project? In short, what is doing a doctorate all about?
This HRA information event is designed for international master’s students interested in pursuing doctoral research in Hamburg and who would like to plan their next steps in good time. You will learn more about the requirements, the doctoral process and the necessary organization.
Public Event: Our public events are open to all interested persons who want to learn about the HRA program and gain insights into our topics. Participation is possible regardless of residence or university affiliation. We look forward to welcoming you!
Starting a Doctorate: These events provide insight into important aspects related to starting your doctorate and help you to make decisions and plan your first steps. The events in this series can also be attended during the master's program.
