Networking for People Who Don’t Really Like Networking
Every successful academic is a person well connected. This interactive workshop offers access to the possibilities of your own professional contact management.
The idea: Contact with others is best shaped in connection with your own personality. You will find out how to develop connections with others while feeling good about it because you are both at eye level and authentic. We will work with concrete case studies, with a focus on events and your professional visibility in the academic field. The workshop offers orientation, examples, and strategies – as well as the mantra that there are always several ways to achieve your goals.
And, even if the topic is not your favourite one, you may realize during this day: A lot is already there – and there is a lot to enjoy if we do networking "our way"! Finally, here is an offer for those who are interested: I want to make sure that you achieve your personal learning goals in this workshop. Therefore, there will be an inquiry before we meet – and I will adapt the contents to your needs, questions, and cases as far as possible.
Focus Topic: This event takes place as part of this year’s focus topic “Networking”.
